Itinerary (09 Nights -10 Days)

• Day
  1

  Arrival - Dehradun- Barkot (180 Kms/ approx. 6 -7 Hrs)

  Meeting and assistance upon arrival at Dehradun airport and drive to Barkot. Upon arrival check into hotel. 
  
  Barkot is an ideal destination to stay for pilgrims of Shri Yamunotri, It is situated 45 Kms before Yamunotri temple, from where panoramic views of the Bandar punch Peaks can be seen.

  2

  Barkot - Yamunotri - Barkot - (36 Kms drive & 6 Kms Trek one way)

  Early morning after breakfast, drive to Janki chatti. Janki chatti is the starting point for trek route towards Yamunotri i.e. 6 Kms one way [you have option either walk or hire Pony or by Doli at your own cost]. Upon arrival at Yamunotri, take a Holy bath in Surya Kund (Hot spring) and visit Yamunotri temple "Darshan" and Pooja of pious "Yamuna Ji" at Divya Shila. Later return to Janki Chatti and then further drive back to Barkot. Overnight stay at Barkot. 
  
  The deity or Goddess Yamuna is made of black marble. The temple is dedicated to the river Yamuna, who is represented in the form of a silver idol, bedecked with garlands. About 3,293 metres above the sea level, Yamunotri stands proudly with its enormous mountain peaks, glaciers and gushing waters of Yamuna. River Yamuna, the second most sacred river of India, originates in Yamunotri, making it one of the pilgrimage sites in the Chota Char Dham Yatra in Uttarakhand.

  Barkot – Uttarkashi (100 Kms/ approx. 4 Hrs)

  Morning after breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi. Visit Shivgufa on the way to Uttarkashi. Arrival in Uttarkashi visit  Kashivishwanath Temple and Shakti temple in Uttarkashi city. Check in the hotel and relax for the day. Enjoy the diner and overnight stay at Uttarkashi.

  Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (100 Kms/ approx. 3 Hrs one way)

  Early morning after breakfast drive to Gangotri, enroute at Gangnani take a holy dip in Garam Kund, further drive to Gangotri via beautiful Harsil Valley. Harsil is famous for its nature beauty and for the majestic views of the Deodar trees and mountains. On arrival at Shree Gangotri take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges which is also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Perform Pooja and Darshan, after that relax for some time in the lovely surroundings. Later drive back to Uttarkashi. Enjoy the diner and overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
  
  Gangotri - As per The Hindu mythology, Goddess Ganga - the daughter of Lord Brahma showed herself as a waterway to acquit the transgressions of King Bhagirath's forerunners, taking after his extreme retribution of a few centuries, and Lord Shiva got her into his tangled locks to minimize the gigantic effect of her fall. She came to be called Bhagirathi at her incredible source. Along the right back of Bhagirathi stands the sanctum of Gangotri devoted to the Goddess. Roosted at a stature of 3042 meters (10,000 ft), it was developed in the mid-18th century by a Gorkha Commander, Amar Singh Thapa.

  Uttarkashi - Guptkashi (220 Kms/approx. 9 Hrs)

  Morning after breakfast, drive to Guptkashi Enroute you can see the beautiful river Mandakini at Tilwara. The Mandakini River comes from Kedarnath. Upon arrival check into hotel. After breakfast the tour drive to Guptkashi. Upon arrival check into hotel. Later we will visit the following places.
  
  

  Vishwanath Temple: The main temple of Guptkashi is dedicated to Lord Shiva as Vishwanath - "Lord of the Universe". It is built by regional stones and is situated in an enclosed courtyard. The small temple to its left is Ardhanarishvara. Manikarnika Kund: It is a place where two streams of the Ganga and Yamuna meet. It is situated in the premises of Vishwanath Temple.  Ardhnarehswar : One of the popular temples in Guptkashi, the temple of Ardhnareshwar is dedicated to Lord Shiva in his half male and half female form is also known as Ardhnareshwar.

  6

  Guptkashi – Kedarnath by Trek (1 Hrs and 16 Km Trek)

  Early in the morning you will drive till Sonprayag (vehicles allow till this point) from here you need to take local jeep/ Max to reach Gaurikund (3 Kms, on direct payment basis, approx. INR 100-200 per person). Upon arrival in Gaurikund, you will start your Trek towards Kedarnath Temple, which is long and beautiful man made trail. After reaching, performing Pooja and Darshan of Shri Kedarnath Temple. Later check in at hotel. Overnight stay at Kedarnath.
  
  Shri Kedarnath- is a majestic sight, standing in the middle of a wide plateau surrounded by lofty snow Covered peaks. The temple of Kedarnath, located at a height of 3,581 mts, stand at the head of the Mandakini River. The present temple, built in the 8th century by Adi Shankaracharya, stands adjacent to the site of an earlier temple built by the Pandavas. The inner walls of the assembly hall are decorated with figures of various deities and scenes from mythology. Outside the temple door a large statue of the Nandi Bull stands as guard. It is said that devotees who die here become one with Shiva himself.

  Kedarnath – Gaurikund – Guptkashi (20kms/8-9hrs)

  Early morning, check-out from the hotel. Later trek down to Gaurikund. On arrival in Gaurikund from here  you need to take a local jeep/ Max to reach Sonprayag (3 kms, on direct payment basis, approx. 100 -200 per person). Later drive to Guptkashi. On arrival check-in at the hotel.

  Guptkashi – Badrinath (210 Kms/ 7 HRS)

  After breakfast check out of the hotel and transfer to Badrinath. En-route visit Karnapragay, Nandprayag, Vishnuprayag, Joshimath & Pandukeshwar & Hamuna Chatt. Check in the hotel and relax for the day. Enjoy the dinner and overnight stay.
  
  Shri Badrinath Temple - It's so great to take in the way that this sacrosanct destination which is being dedicated to Lord Vishnu has been committed to humankind. The area where Lord Vishnu pondered under a Badri tree for thousand unremitting years and taught us a definitive method for welfare of humankind is exceptional on the planet. Today, this temple is considered as one of the holiest Hindu temples.

  Badrinath – Rudraprayag (160 Kms /approx. 6 Hrs)

  Morning after bath in the Taptkund visit to Shri Badrinath Temple, Brahma Kamal is significant for Pind Dan Shradh of ancestors (Pitru). There are other interesting sightseeing spot like Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Mata Murti Temple, Bhim Kund and the "Mukh '' of the Saraswati River. Just within the three Kms of Badrinath Ji.
  
  After the sightseeing tour, drive towards Rudraprayag. Upon arrival check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at Rudraprayag

  10

  Rudraprayag - Dehradun - Departure

  After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Rishikesh. First, we visit the Rudranath temple, Narad temple, Guru Goraknath temple.  Later transfer to Dehradun airport to board the flight to onward destination.
