Itinerary (20 Nights - 21 Days)

    Arrival - Chennai

    At the airport, you will see that our representative is waiting to give a warm welcome and later he will escort you to your hotel, previously reserved. Check in time is 12 PM (Early check in subject to availability)

    Chennai

    Morning we will start the city tour of Chennai. We will visit National Art Gallary, St Thomas Mount (Little Mount Shrine), Kapaleshwar Temple, Fort St. George. Later we will visit T Nagar Market.

    Chennai - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram (03 HRS)

    After breakfast drive to Mahabalipuram to Enroute have a stop at Kanchipuram to explore Kanchipuram Temple City Tour. Visit some important temples like Ekambareswarar Templewhere Lord shiva signifies one of the five elements of Nature "Earth" and then to Kamatchi Amman Temple dedicated for goddess Parvati.

    Later have a short drive to have the most famous World Heritage UNESCO Monumental Tour. First, to the Sea Shore Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and Vishnu, and then to Five Rathas "Five Chariots", a monolithic structure, representing a unique style built by the pallavas, then finally to Arjuna's Penance, Varaha Cave and Krishna's Butter Ball.

    Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry (4 HRS)

    Morning after breakfast, drive to Pondicherry. Upon arrival check into hotel.   Later visit Some of the major tourist places to be visited here are the beach, museum, Auriobindo ashram, Auroville, botanical gardens, and the French Quarter. Paradise beach of the city is famous for its beautiful half moon shape and dolphins.

    Pondicherry - Tanjore - Madurai (165 KMS – 04 HRS)

    Moring drive to Tanjore enroute visit to Chidambaram enroute visit to Chidambaram Narataja Temple, Thillai Natraja Temple.

    Later drive to Tanjore. Tanjore is an important center of South Indian art and architecture. Most of the Great Living Chola Temples which are UNESCO World Heritage Monuments are located in and around Thanjavur. The foremost among the Great Living Chola temples, the Brihadeeswara Temple, is located in the center of the city. Thanjavur is also the home of the Tanjore painting, a painting style unique to the region. The city is an important agricultural center located at the heart of the region, known as the Rice bowl of Tamil Nadu.

    Tanjore - Trichy - Madurai (140 KMS / 03 HRS)

    We will visit  Brahadeeswarar Temple at Tanjore will visit Rockfort Temple, Srirangam temple, Samayapuram temple at Trichy.  Later drive to Madurai. Upon arrival check into hotel.

    Madurai - Rameshwaram (4 HRS)

    orning after breakfast, proceed for the sightseeing. Madurai is the largest city in Madurai. It is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities. We will visit the famous Meenakshi Temple. There are four entrances to this amazing temple complex set in 6 characters. Later visit to Gaandhi Museum – MaduraiSri Subramanya Swamy TempleThirumalai Nayakar MahalMariamman Teppakulam. 

    Morning drive to Rameshwaram. Upon arrival check into hotel.

    Rameshwaram - Kanyakumari (05 HRS)

    Later drive to Kanyakumari. Upon arrival check into hotel. Evening sunset vist.

    Kanyakumari - Kovalam (02 hrs)

    Morning after breakfast, visit to Vivekananda RockMahatma Gandhi Memorial Resembling Centre and the Thiruvalluvar Statue. Later drive to Kovalam. Upon arrival check into hotel.

    Kovalam - Free Day

     Kovalam is a beach town on the Arabian Sea in Kerala. Kovalam has three crescent shaped beaches separated by rocky outcroppings. The shallow waters stretching for hundreds of metres are ideal for swimming. The beaches have steep palm covered headlands and are lined with shops that offer all kinds of goods and services. Kovalam was among the most prominent tourist spots in India during the hippy era. It still has a high status among tourists, who arrive mostly from Europe and Israel. Kovalam is finding a new significance in the light of several Ayurvedic salons, and recuperation and regeneration resorts which provide a wide variety of Ayurvedic treatments for tourists.  Free day non services

    Kovalam - Alleppey (05 Hrs)

    Morning drive to Alleppey to board the houseboat. Alleppey houseboat is the only medium to explore the scenic beauty of the backwaters, which are mesmerizing and offers you treat to the eyes. The houseboat in Alleppey slowly floating over the scenic backwater takes you to the world of wonderments passing through the scintillating natural beauty, terrific churches and emerald green paddy fields that offers sight that one can hardly forget.

    Alleppey - Periyar (140 kms / 4 Hrs)

    Morning drive to Periyar. Upon arrival check into Hotel.

    Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary lies in the picturesque locales of the Western Ghats in the Idukki district of Kerala. The Periyar Lake, an artificial lake formed due to construction of a dam in 1895 AD adds to the beauty of the park. The lake is a permanent source of water for the wildlife.

    Here the high ranges of the Western Ghats are clothed in dense evergreen, moist deciduous forests and savannah grass lands. Below this thick green canopy roam herds of elephants, sambars, tigers, gaurs, lion tailed macaques and Nilgiri langurs.

    Evening we will enjoy the boat ride at Lake Periyar. This is most enjoyable part of seeing the wildlife around the lake in a boat. From the safety of a boat you can witness herds of wild elephants coming down to water and swim.

    Periyar - Munnar (04 Hrs)

    Morning we will enjoy the Spice Plantation Tour.. The spice plantation in Thekkady is a prime attraction of this beautiful land. Though sprawling tea estates cover much of the landscape of Thekkady, plantations of cardamom, rubber, vanilla and coffee are also aplenty. There are various kinds of spices cultivated in Thekkady. The most abundantly found spice in Thekkady is pepper. But there is a variety of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, ginger, turmeric and curry leaves on the slanting slopes of the spice plantation in Thekkady.

    Later drive to Munnar. Upon arrival check into Hotel.

    Your eyes will have little time to rest while in Munnar. Everywhere you look there is another natural wonder to behold. The luscious greens of the dense mountain foliage provide the perfect backdrop for the endless wonders that can be seen in the area. Waterfalls, local plantations and European architecture provide a textured sightseeing wonderland like few others.

    Munnar

    Today after breakfast, go for sightseeing at Mattupetty Dam; a beautiful spot for viewing the picturesque Munnar, Kundala Lake- a natural lake with recreational facilities like boating and having excellent view of Western Ghats as well as the forest surrounded with.  Also visit Eco point,Blossom park, TATA Tea Mueum and tea plantations.

    After noon you can visit Eravikulam National park (CLOSED IN FEB & MARCH)

    Munnar - Cochin (04 Hrs)

    Morning drive to Cochin. Upon arrival check in to hotel. Later visit Fort Cochin, Santa Cruz Basilica, Dutch Palace (Closed on Friday, opening time 9:30 am to 4:00 pm) at Mattancherry, St. Francis Church and Chinese fishing nets.

    Evening Kathkali Dance: Evening we will visit the Kathkali Dance. Kathkali dance is the one of most famous dance performance in Kerala. Kathakali draws its theme from the wealth of Indian mythology and folklore. Expressions of face and eyes hold the key to perfection. Unique among the Indian dance forms, Kathakali ranks high among the Indian dance forms. Noted for its archaic costumes, weird make up, the elaborately painted faces often mistaken for masks and grand headgears, Kathakali is perhaps the only dance form in India in which the masculine aspect of the dance is preserved in its elemental

    Cochin - Ooty (07 hrs)

    Following the tour drive to Ooty. Upon arrival check into hotel.  The Queen of Hill stations nestled in the Nilgiri range and popularly known as Ooty, A Britisher Mr. John Sullivan discovered Ooty in 1821; the sheer grandeur of this romantic city is enough to drain anyone out.

    After breakfast, time to enjoy the beautiful scenic view of Ooty & coonoor.  Our sightseeing includes such beautiful places as Simi's Park, Lam's Rock, Catherine falls, Dolphin Nose and Ketti Valley, Visit Rose GardenOoty Lake and Botanical GardenTiger hill.

    Doddabetta Peak - highest peak of the Nilgiri mountain range.

    Ooty - Mysore (04 hrs)

    Morning after breakfast, drive to Mysore. Upon arrival visit to Mysore Palace – it is built in Indo – sarcenic style with beautiful domes, arches, turrets, and colonnades. We will also visit the Brindavan Garden and Mysore Lake.

    Mysore - Bangalore (04 Hrs)

    Morning drive to Bangalore En-route we visit the Srirangapatnam, the historic capital of Tipu Sultan known for his struggle against British rule.  Several monuments relating to his rule are sprinkled across the island. Later we visit Darya Daulat, commonly known as Summer Palace of Tipu Sultan is situated amidst scenic surroundings on an island formed by two branches of the River Cauvery.

    Following the visit drive to Bangalore. Upon arrival check into hotel.

    Bangalore Tour

    Morning, we will start the Bangalore tour. Today we take a guided tour of Bangalore, visiting Tipu Sultan Palace; the layout of the palace gives the idea of the ethnic Mughal lifestyle. The fort & its remains present the history of the era in which it was built. The construction of the Tipu palace was started by Haider Ali & completed by Tipu Sultan, it is now a museum.

    Also visit ISKCON Temple, harmonious blend of the Dravidian & modern architecture. The building has some of the modern facilities along with Vedic preaching library. Later visit to Bull temple, Lalbagh Vidhan Soudha, Natinal Gallary of Modern Art, Nehru Planetarium.

    Bangalore - Departure

    After breakfast, transfer to airport to board the flight to onward destination.
